Epilepsy is a seizure disorder.... some symptoms may be convulsing to something as simple as 'spacing out'. My hubby has this. Depending on different variables (sleep, nutrition etc) he can have anywhere from a grand mal seizure to a series of the dropsies where he drops things constantly. Seizures are a brain to muscle thing.. to put it simply. Your brain 'misfires' and your muscles seize up - contract and loosen.
Tourettes is where you can not control a certain function.. normally verbally. My son had a tick where he would touch his lip, then top of head, then nose over and over again. The docs thought he had tourettes at first, but found out it was only a tick. Other people may repeat words (usually cuss words). It is like the part of the brain that says don't and stops you from saying something, misses and things slip through.
Schizophrenia is where you see and hear other people and things that others don't.
Because there are so many different levels of each disorder, the symptoms will vary. It kinda depends on why you are asking the question. If you think that someone might have one of these disorders.. they are all pretty different and all three need to be treated with medication. So your best bet would be to take the person to the doc.
I hope this answered your question... It is hard to answer without knowing the reason behind it - knowing that would help to know what angle to answer from.
Good Luck, I hope this helped some!!

these conditions are too involved to fully answer here and now. you need to either check out books from the library or research them online. I can't answer even one without typing long paragraphs.
