the reason why i am asking is cause i think my boyfriend is cheating and if he is i will leave but i want evidence and if i know who he talks to and want they say and find out the truth it would be a happy day for me.Can someone help me?

There used to be one freq. not anymore. In addition what you are suggesting is not legal. The scanners that are made these days have certain functions disabled. Most cells now have a function to prevent snooping. Don't bother

It is illegal to listen in on wireless or cordless phone conversations.

Cell phones use a band of frequencies, so you would need to scan through all the other calls going on around you looking for your boyfriend.

Cordless phones operate on 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz. Most ones use frequency hopping or scrambling to prevent people 'accidentally' listening to the conversation.

If you just want to know whom he is talking to, look at the phone records in the bill, or the caller ID on the phone, or the phone log, or last number redial list.

If its a new phone its in the 900 mgz scanners cant pick it up as they always do random codes on them , cell phones , now i have picked up , but would have to scan channels, try radio shack and ask them they can tell you more
