Happiness comes from being grateful for the small things. Some things could be a roof over our head, food to eat, a bed to sleep in, people that love us, beautiful things in nature, even life itself. The list is endless. If we remember to be grateful we will be happy. Count your blessings every day and be at peace.

Charlie Brown tells us that happiness is finding a pencil etc. I agree happiness is found in the little things. Often we pass the small things in favor of being or staying unhappy. It is a shame really. We have the opportunity to remain happy but don't take the trouble to find it where it can be found.

Happiness does come from the little things as the big things in life...from the smell of your favorite flower that brings a memory back, to the birth of your children, the first time your child says a word, the moment you know how much your kids love you, a walk, just all kinds of moments in life...

Sometimes it is the smallest of things that bring us happiness. Example, I used to buy my toddle toys and wrap them in pretty packages. He would open them look at them smile and laugh, but then would put them down and pick up the ribbon, the paper and to box and play with them for hours -the very thing we call trash. He was happy with that, actually anything would of made him happy.
What is the moral of this story. We need to be more like children and find happiness in all we touch and see.

Happiness is a warm modem.
But aside from that, happiness comes from within. If it was any other way, we would all find equal happiness in the same things.

Most days you have a choice. Just choose to be happy and it is easier to find the things that make you smile.

It can; I appreciate the small details. When I still believed in love, I adore such things as "sweet nothings" and all. Material possessions can aid in happiness, but they can not generate happiness themselves.

Definitely! It comes mostly from little things. If i had to choose I'd eliminate all big things as long as the little things were significant!

I agree. Sometimes I don't pay enough attention to the little things and take them for granted. Sometimes it's the little things that can make your whole day brighter.
Ugh, that sounded so cliche. Sorry!
