No, its not beneficial. It will actually make you sick because of the uric acid in it. It is better to use your sweat or put a plastic bag over a plant and drink the condesation.

No. It will only make your dehydration worse. You see, we drink water not only because our metabolic pathways need it, but also, to get rid of certain compounds in our body, such as salts. Now, the water you get from drinking urine is actually less than what is needed to get rid of the salt that you take from drinking urine, and so you'll become more thirsty. Don't drink your own pee!!!

Nope, it will make things worse. Urine is the salt that is removed from your body(similar to sweat). Whenever a person urinates, the waste from your blood is coming out with the urine. So if you drink it, you are taking in the salt you lost, making your thirst even worse.

I see this on a television show where people would drink it because they felt it had healing powers. I thought your urine was waste and 80% water. I wouldn't drink it I would rather just get it over and die. I'm going to die at some point anyways.

I've taken survival courses US Army RANGERS and other so called 'hard core' guys have failed. We had to do that every day for a week. We boiled it first and sweetened it with roots and other herbs. You really can't notice after three or four days of no water at all. But given the choice of that or water, I'd take the water.

In any situation it is neither advisable nor it is drinkable because it contains urea & other waste products of the body
& hence it is extemely bitter & the tongue will develop blisters.
But there was a report of a politician who used to practice AUTO-URINE therapy & he lived till the age of 95 years.
