Like I said she is turning the big 1 in June and my mom and I want to throw a great party for the whole family. We want something that she can have fun with, but keeping in mind that we want the grown-ups to have fun too. Does anyone have any ideas, websites, or suggestions for us? We would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hmm...why dont you order someone to come as her favorite cartoon character? better yet, my neice loves ariel. I ordered a ariel comstume and became Ariel for the kids & did face painting. All the adults thought it was cool how someone in their family tried to be ariel!

we did a Crayola party. all the plates, tablesclothes and invites were made from my daughter's artwork. we used playdough to mold out a "happy birthday" sign. i had all the guest write on the tableclothes and saved them for my daughter. i can get you more info if this sounds interesting.

for my son's 1st b-day we got the little ones mini carrot muffins for a snack. They loved it.

We also got a picture of me on my 1st B-day and my husband on his 1st B-day. to compare who he looks like everyone had fun with that.

Plus we had everyone bring a photo of their 1st B-day if they had one to play a guess who game.

We had crayons and big peices of paper taped to the floor for them to color on

When there are little ones around they usually entertain the adults without much help, just have fun

Rent one of those big inflatable bouncy-house things, put all the kids in there, and get a keg.

Instant gratification.
