I keep dreaming that im looking after a baby, what does this mean.

You may of course dream about your own or some one else's baby in a straight forward way without any need for decoding.However,the innocent child-self is a major arch type of the collective unconscious-yourself,in fact,looking innocently at the world around you.The symbol of a very young baby is more likely to refer to some particular aspect of the self,to some unfamiliar inner dimension that has recently been"born"or come to realisation.Other wise, a baby may represent any new life,new venture,new psychological direction,new career,new way at looking at yourself-any thing in fact that seems newly to have come to life.I hope I was of some help.Take care.

Remember all of the characters in your dream are a reflection or substitution of yourself. If you see yourself with the baby, then you are seeing what you think other people see or expect. If you see the baby and believe you are the one holding it, but cannot see you, it means you are the baby. Either way, it suggests you do not feel fulfilled in your emotional life and you want more. That may be a more meaningful relation ship with a boyfriend or spouse, or you want more from a best friend.

A dream expert I spoke with long ago said it can mean one of two things. You are dreaming your future (of being a mother) or you have an important project or wish to bring to fulfilment. If you nurture the wish/project (example getting an education or starting a career at an entry-level), you will give "birth" to your wish one day. Wish/project = baby

I used to dream about babies and pregnancy all the time too, and in my case, it was because I really wanted a baby.

it depends on the context of the dream, were you annoyed looking after the baby or happy,
annoyed usually means you have alot of responsibility and not really wanting it,
but if your happy in the dream it means your thriving on the new responsibility's that you have

it doesnt mean your are pregnant or want to be. it means you feel you are burdened with the responsibility of something it could be at work or someone in your family is sick. you need to think of what it is and find a way of sharing the responsibility with someone else and you will find that the dreams will be ok
