Does it make any difference if you do 30 minutes of cardio and then an hour of weights or is it better to do weights first?

if you are trying to lose weight - weights first (and deffinately not and hour long) and then cardio 45 min 4 times a week
if you are trying to gain - you can do cardio first and then weights - heavy weights and low reps

It depends: what's more important to you now, gaining muscle or losing fat?

In general, it's a good idea to do some cardio before lifting weights, in order to get your body temperature up to an ideal work-out level, even if it's just for 10 minutes. You'll be able to lift more.

If you're going to do 30 minutes of cardio first, though, you will probably feel a slight decrease in your strength when lifting weights, especially the larger muscles, such as chest and legs.

So, you should probably do a few minutes of cardio to get warmed up before lifting, then do your 30 minutes hard at the end.

The best thing to do is about 15 min of cardio before your workout this way your heart gets goin and you wil have a better workout then after the work out do 15 min to end it off trust me this works all the health freaks and the body builders do this at the gym

i used to do an hour of weights and then 30 min. of cardio. the weights get your heart pumping up to speed. i personally feel this is better and have seen fantastic results within 30 days.

I personally do weights first as well. Im actually in a bulking phase trying to gain mass and strength. If I did cardio first I would be too fatigued to lift as heavy as I normally could.
