You've waited long enough already, time for the vets now. It's never a good idea to wait, any problem is best caught early.
The previous poster does NOT know that this is a reverse sneeze - how stupid to just announce like this without even hearing the noise!! Reverse sneezes are also worthy of veterinary attention anyway, because they're usually a sign that something is irritating the throat, like enlarged tonsils, which can be treated.
Does she react this way after exercise at all? It may be a sign of heart problems. Only way to be sure is to go to the vet!

Why would you want it to get worse before seeing a vet? If the dog is having a hard time breathing she needs a vet now. Sometimes waiting till things are worse can be fatal.

Don't panic! He's just dreaming! When dog's dream, they twitch, whine, bark, growl, move their legs like they are running, have REM's {Rapid Eye Movements}. Nothing to worry about! If on the other hand, he sounds like he's having trouble breathing, or doing any gasping, or convulsing, then a visit to the vet, is in order!

Get her to the vet ASAP...it could be a sign of congestive heart failure.
