We have 6, and it is killing me.

Canon digital
Kodak digital
Minolta srt101 (oldie)
Nikon (oldie)
2 cellphones with cameras,
3 disposables that we've never used,
Sony camcorder

And my husband wants ANOTHER ONE!!!!
What is it with people wanting a gazillion cameras?
I want to sell most of them, but my husband just wants to let them crumble in our home.

It used to be that each home had 1 still camera and maybe 1 video camera. Now with cell phone cameras and all the digital cameras around the camera has become a personal item to be owned by a specific family member. Everybody wants their own to be used for their own picture taking style.

I have 2 digitals I use regularly. A DSLR for important stuff where I don't mind lugging a big camera and a small pocket sized camera for everyday stuff.

My wife has a small digital she keeps in her purse all the time and 6 of our 7 kids have their own digital cameras also. The youngest is 4 so she won't be getting one for another year or two.

I guess that adds up to 9 plus the MiniDV camcorder making it a total of 10. We finally gave all our film cameras to Goodwill as a donation since we never used them any more. Tell your husband he can get another camera after he agrees to give the older not used anymore cameras to a charitable organization like Goodwill.

Before anyone jumps on me for bragging, I got most of the cameras for under $25 each and fixed them up to use. With 7 kids, I'm not THAT rich!

I have 12,899,247 cameras in my house. And if you tell young people that today, they won't believe you.
