Hi Quantum. I gave Mich a best answer rating. I am adding my thoughts here, because the 2nd answer is factually in error. You cannot get vitamin A poisoning from carrot juice because there is NO vitamin A in carrot juice. However, carrots and juice do contain beta-carotene which can be converted into vitamin A by an enzyme in your body. This enzyme is 'regulated', which means it will stop working when enough vitamin A is made. So, you cannot get vitamin A poisoning from carrot juice. You can develop carotonemia - an excess buildup of beta-carotene in the blood which will discolor the skin. This is Not a serious danger and is quickly resolved by reducing the intake of beta-carotene. Best wishes.

As long as it isn't bottled juice, there is little difference between eating a raw carrot and drinking it as a juice. The great thing about veggie juices is that you can consume more in one sitting: ie you can drink more carrots than you can eat.

It isn't "better" to drink carrot juice, but you will get a much more concentrated dose of beta carotene in the drink. But, its better to eat the carrot instead to get the fiber that helps you feel fuller. There's so much beta carotene in a carrot that you really don't need to drink carrot juice unless your on a cancer diet.

Well eating rqaw carrots would be better for you.
1. It's not going through any processing.
and 2. it's not a health benefit but it ddoes get you full quicker because it's a heavier/fuller substance.

Yes, the nutrition is in the liquid, so to get the best out of it, indeed juicing is the best way to go. The benefit is to build a strong immune system.
