Word 2003 is obsolete; Word 2007 works with XP and Vista

Most people get Microsoft Office Home and Student Version instead of Microsoft Word.

Microsoft Office Home and Student Version:

Costs about the same as Word alone.
Can be installed on 3 computers in the same household; Word can only be installed on one
Contains Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

Go to the Microsoft website, www.microsoft.com and there is a place to sign up for a trial of either Office 2003 or 2007. It will only let you have it for 60 days but at least you will have it for that long.
