Ten years probation for aggravated robbery. This sounds like a black person or someone who had connections. If a person would commit such a crime at this age means there is no way they'll be able to stay out of trouble for tens years. Aggravated means it was a strong arm. This was a serious crime. Is the person black? They'll have to keep their butt clean for ten years. I'm sure it is supervised for the big time. This means you can't travel to other countries and might have a hell of a time moving around the country. If I was this person and I could join the military I would, because that's the only way you'll be able to leave the state.

From my experience, if your ever are convicted of a Felony, you will not be allowed into any Military Branch! Maybe, if the Governor of your home state gives you a pardon? But, only when your probation is over successfully! Talk to a Recruiter, to be sure, but i think he will know, if there is anyway you can join!

It has always been the Military's policy that you have to have a clean record, but with the war going on and the dwindling reenlistments they may take you.It would teach you some pride in yourself and respect for others and their property.
Then we will see how brave you are when the person pointing a weapon at you wants to take everything away from you(your life). You will see how scared the people were that you robbed.

no. as long as you are on probation, you cannot enlist. Nor can you ask the judge to end your probation early for the sole purpose of joining the military.

Probably not ! This sounds like violent crime and that is where the military draws the line.

Your best bet is to call or visit a MEPS office in your area. They will give you the latest in do's and dont's, in accepting felons !
