If you are a Christian, the smallest things you do wrong can cause you to feel EXTREME guilt. But if you think about it... God has already sent his son to die for your sins. So there is no point in feeling guilty because God will love you anyway... but that doesn't mean you should keep doing whatever it was that made you feel guilty in the first place. You just have to understand that this is just one life. And if you trust God fully, you will live with him forever in heaven when this life is over.

All of our sins have already been taken care of... when we ask God for forgiveness, he forgets about what we did... so we should not keep feeling guilty about our wrongdoings when our Creator doesn't even remember what we did! He loves us no matter what!

Guilt? I live the best life that I can, when I make mistakes I learn from them all that I can, so I don't make the same mistake again, ask God to forgive me and move on. I have no time to waste on guilt.

We don't know, we never have to live a life full of guilt. We ask forgiveness and move on!

Are you saying that an atheist doesn't feel guilt?
Even when they have an affair?
Even if they accidentally kill someone in a car accident?
Even if they yell at their children just because they are too stressed at the moment?
I think this type of guilt is a normal emotion for anyone regardless of religion.
If you don't feel guilt at times like this, than you are not human. At that, I would tell you to go back to your swamp and start all over. You obviously weren't done yet.

If I see a flaw in myself. I try to fix it. Feeling guilt isn't going to change what I have already done. Though it may stop me from doing something I shouldn't. My life is not full of guilt. It is full of trying to do what is right. Also, grace and love.

well if a Christian has a life full of guilt then they are just playing church instead ob being the church of Christ . but then again all they need to do is ask for forgiveness and get into the word of god . see even tho they might be playing church on Sunday they still are in the church and still have the authority in Jesus Christ name to call for him just as peter called for Jesus when he was sinking in the water but he was still close enough to reach out for his hand . jut like now your asking people that believe in god Almighty a question about living in the life of rightness so just like peter was up to his neck in water he still had enough faith to ask for help just like what you are doing now . . those who don't believe in god at all wont be found in yahoo answers. well not at least in religion and spirituality . and as for your question i don't know because i live my life according to god so there is no guilt .

I have been forgiven from all my sins so therefore there is no guilt in my life now. Before when I was out in the world I did, but now I am free of guilt because I am forgiven

Loaded question, since, after repentance, Christians don't (or at least shouldn't) live with guilt as God has taken their guilt away.

I have been a Christian for 20+ years, and I certainly don't live a life full of guilt. Where did you get this twisted idea from? Remember, no God, no love - know God, know love. Go well, and God Bless!
