In the Unites States, you can become a registered Professional Engineer (PE). You first take a test to qualify as an EIT (Engineer in Training). After four years of working experience, you can take the PE test.

well, it depends on what u wanna be in d future...
I did SCJP, RHCE, MCP, OCA etc.. u can start with OCA and OCP.. i mean the oracle certifications.. then u can go ahead either the open source way or Microsoft way... choice is all urs...

Take strong courses in computer and soon almost everything will be computer controlled.
