It is a Primascan, and it's a really nice scanner. I need to scan some pictures. please help!!

you can usually find drivers on line. I don't know your exact model, but a sample link is below. Once you find the correct driver for your model and operating system, you download the driver and install it. It may ask you a few simple questions, usually the default answers are best - but read the screens carefully, as you may need to turn the scanner on or plug in in at a certain prompt.

If you do not have a cd which will install scanner then it is very difficult. The easiest way is to call the maker give them the model Number and ask for the cd.
Technical support will really help you. I have done this but not for scanner but for preinstalled back up program. I asked the maker for back up program on DVD and the give me a reasonable price.

Simply search on Google for Primascan driver and utilities. Sorry, i don't know exact model hence cannot help you more. If you can give me the product series. I can give you the link. Tha series may be in the backside

go online to the website that is either on their or you have to search for it. In the web site http://www.visioneer-europe.com/products/2600u.htm look for you type of scanner and look for the drivers sometimes they are free sometimes you have to pay. there is a web site for you.

You should be able to obtain drivers and operating software from Visioneer, the provider of Primascan.

u could easily get drivers from so many free sites.u could try them out .but see that they are secure , pal.have u tried going to "control panel - >add or remove programs - >add new hardware" ???
