Not who but what? It is God's power or active force.
Picture it this way on a small scale. In a small town, there is always one man who is the richest man around. A leader. Even though he is not present at all functions, his power is felt. "What does he want us to do? Will he be OK with this?" A true leader comes into the room and no matter what is going on, everyone turns to him, focused on what he might say. One can actually feel his presence. Multiply that several billion times, and you have God's holy spirit. It is capable of actually moving things as God desires.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, I have heard it explained in this way, the love between the Father and the Son is so incredible and alive that this love itself is a living divine person called the Holy Spirit(Ghost)

The "Holy Ghost" is what many of us Christians call the "Holy Spirit" which is God's Holy Spirit which He has given to us as a teacher, guide, deliverer of Truth, and through the Holy Spirit we receive the armour and weapons we need to fight satan-which we call "Gifts of the Spirit"
(The Holy Trinity is the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (ie Spirit))
Peace be with you :)

No, (so a lengthy way as i recognize) I unquestionably have considered the Holy Ghost named that and Holy Spirit. diverse variations of the bible will reference this as both. yet as with each non secular subject matter, it truly is open to interpretation.

Ok, I'm pretty dumbb but as far as I know, as a catholic what happened was so yeh Jesus died on the corss for us so we'd be forgiven for our sins and we can enter the gateway to heaven.
By doing this the holy spirit which as far as I know is another name for him maybe often contriubutes in some way to our life on earth untill he comes back for us.
Some people have claimed that the holy spirit has entered them and so on.
Well actually a lot have!
The Holy spirit can guide you through life.
After pray and before we say
'Name of the Father hand of the son and of the Holy spirit Amen'
It's bascilly linked through God to help us untill he will come :)
I think well i hope i dont wanna give you false information here!!

The Holy Ghost, now more often referred to as the Holy Spirit, is explained as the love between the Father and the Son.
The Trinity is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The love between the Father and the Son is so intense that it is another person...the Holy Spirit.

According to our religion the holy spirit is God's active force, that which he uses to accomplish what he wills.
Our watchtower.org study materials help with this.
” (Revelation 4:11) He accomplished the creation, not with tools such as men use, but by means of his holy spirit, which is his invisible active force. (Genesis 1:2; Psalm 104:30 [103:30, Dy]) It is that same holy spirit by which he later caused the Bible to be written so that we might know his will and purposes for men on earth.—2 Peter 1:21.
(DY is the Catholic "Douay" bible version)

The Holy Ghost is part of the Holy Trinity There is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost, They are separate but they are also one and the same. This is part of the Christian faith. I am not a church goer but I am a believer

In Christian Doctrine this is the Spirit of God
hence in catholicism you have the Father (God) the son (Jesus) and the Holy Ghost (The Spirit of God)
