I want to get blonde streaks on the underside of my hair. Having naturally black hair, putting a color in makes it red, how can I avoid getting red?

Go to a hair dresser. They can do it for you without turning your hair red. I have black hair too. :)

You need to do a two step process which first you have bleach the parts you want to streak then second you have to put in the colour. Be sure your hair is healthy the more chemicals you put on your hair the more damage it will have on your hair. I have included a web site with instruction on how to do this. Good luck

Bleach is the only way to go for black hair. And it will probably turn orange, so make sure you use a toner with a violet base to 'cancel out' the color and make it blonde.

BUY IT!!!!!!!!! If you try to lift your natural color to blonde it will damage that part of your hair beyond repair. Check out the Salons in your area to see if they carry the individual curls, if not check out the Beauty Supply. That way it's FUN, easy to change colors and YOUR HAIR STAYS HEALTHY. It's definitely a WIN, WIN.

it truly is finally you're selection, yet i in my view imagine that large gentle highlights on someone with darkish hair seems rather undesirable. it would not look organic in any respect. fairly if the stylist makes the highlights too imagine, then curiously like someone went loopy with bleach on your head. once you flow to the salon, i might want to point inquiring for organic looking gentle-medium brown highlights. and tell them to make confident the highlights are skinny, because you don't want it looking streaky. it is going to offer your hair length devoid of human beings devoid of delay understanding it truly is synthetic :]

I think you have to bleach the part of your hair you want blonde, then dye it.
