Earnest, my friend...having read your question, and, out of curiosity, each answer, a few times, I have come to the conclusion that only a couple of people have answered your actual question, which was...
"Have you considered that ALL children may be raptured ? And just how would the world cope with all of the children gone?".
The question, simply put, is...what would we do with no kids around, knowing that they all went to a better place? This is not a totally religious question, and doesn't ask opinions of the meaning of rapture, as many people have offered you in their answers. The question implies that the world will continue after ALL the children are gone.
So, my answer to the first part is yes. And, for the second part, even though she got thumbs downs and people probably think she was being flippant, I will have to totally agree with SelfnoSelf's answer.
In a world that had children, and no longer does, even though the reason for the children being gone, is known, I think people would become more selfish, less tolerant, more unhappy. I mean...think about it. No more "my boloney has a first name...it's O-S-C-A-R"...no more Cosby Kids...no more cartoons...no more Cap'N Crunch cereal or juice boxes or toy stores or visiting Santa at the mall. No more car seats, no little bicycles in the driveway, no baby clothes in Walmart, no Little League, no PTA meetings, no "Soccer Mom" bumper stickers, no cute diaper commercials on TV. No trick-or-treating, no Easter Bunny, no Chuck E Cheese pizza parlors, no baby changing stations in the bathrooms, no crying babies on airplanes. No child molestation, no child abuse, no Crib Death, no Juvenile Diabetes, no 3-day Jerry Lewis telethon. No celebrity gossip concerning parenthood, paternity or names. No "Home Alone" or "Benji" or "Toy Story" No Happy Meals.
No school buses. No Boy Scouts. No daycares.
No infants. No babies. No toddlers. No teenagers. No children. No grandchildren.
It would be weird, very weird...
I don't think the world WOULD cope. I think with all innocence removed, the world would become more hateful. Lonliness would prevail. People would age faster. Older folks would die sooner.
It wouldn't be a pretty world...

Good day my friend I agree that we will have to now not set dates for the Rapture. I agree that God the daddy knows and no longer the Son. It's actual that we do not know the day or the hour of the Rapture, but we're commanded to know the season of Jesus return for us on the Rapture, and be ready and observing. We do that with the aid of watching Israel. Israel is God's time peace. The prophet Daniel used to be given an precise day rely by way of the angel. The targeted day depend for Israel commenced may 19th 2010 for the 2300 days. We know this seeing that the angel stated 62 shavuot's( years) are for Israel from the going forth of them fitting a nation. The going forth was once Nov 1947. The angel also mentioned after 62 shavuot's there shall be 2300 days. Israel is now at 63 years/Shavuot's. We all know as watchers, that the season is now, the day and hour may be very soon. We also recognize that the angel mentioned that if these days (tribulation) weren't cut quick , no Flesh would live to tell the tale. These days are being shortened NOW. We the believer have got to be taken out of the way in which, before the Lawless One can be revealed. Watch the Moon and the Heavenly sky's In Gen 1:14 Then God mentioned " let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night time, and let them BE FOR indicators AND FOR SEASONS and FOR DAYS and FOR YEARS. The first thing they were stated to be for instead of days and nights is indicators and then SEASONS. My buddy ; the Rapture can arise literally at any second from right here on out ! The Bible tells us to hope that we be observed necessary to stand earlier than the son of Man ( Jesus) Repent , confess and be ready. Peace to you a buddy in Christ Jesus

I agree with snickers, although, children would be born after the rapture, right? So there would still be babies to love, and children's innocence to keep the people that are left here sane. And, if everything goes down the way it is supposed to, children would probably complicate a lot of it. I think it would be a blessing in disguise to not have children to consider when making hard decisions. Food would be scarce, things would be terrible. Can you imagine having to worry about your children in that situation?
What an interesting, thought provoking question. Thank you for asking it!

Hi Earnest, by reading the posts, it makes me wonder what kind of Christians we have out there.
I understood the so called rapture as the second coming of the Lord, but even it is two separate distinct events, not only would all the children (who have not reached the age of accountability), but all of the living Christians would be gone. It would be a strange world without children and a bunch of Republicans. A world with mostly Muslims and Democrats would be a bad place.
I don't think any more children would be born after that, but I am not a bible scholar.

I believe the bible teaches that all children who have not reached the age of accountability will go to heaven if they die. When do they reach the age of accountability? No one can say because it is not the same for every kid. Once they have reached the age of accountability then they must make a decision for or against Christ. But the rapture is not dying. The rapture is God supernaturally taking people off the earth because the world has become so wicked that it is ripe and due for judgement(a Perfectly Holy and Righteous God must sooner or later judge sin) and God has already judged believers when He judged Christ on the cross. Whether children under the age of accountability will also be taken or left to make a decision is speculative and I'll confess, I don't know for sure. I could make an argument that says He does take them simply be saying that some children never have to make a decision for Christ because they die before they age of accountability. So why would it be wrong to assume that other children would never have to make a decision for Christ because they are raptured before they reach the age of accountability? I still say it's just speculation. The bible is the Word of God. It has nothing in it but truth. But it is not exaustive truth. It doe not tell you everything about everything.
God gives you enough info to accept Christ or to reject Him. But some things are not told. Deuteronomy 29:29 says "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children for ever, that we may follow all the words of this law". I really wouldn't want to be dogmatic about this.

Earnest you sure have given us something to think about on a dreary Saturday morning. Jesus will bring all the little children into his waiting arms. What a wonderful thought that the children will not pay for the sins of the father. Blessed be the children.
I think the children will all be gone only when the sinners are left behind but so many things are left to interpretation.

I'm a believer in the Rapture! I also believe all the children and those who believe and worship God will be raptured up and be spared the time of sorrows! I thank God for sparing the children the horrible times to follow!

If God does take His Church, then all the children will be gone. I believe children are pure and innocent and I believe that's how God sees them too. It's really sad to think of a world without children...the sounds of their laughter, watching them run and play and the look of wonder and amazement on their faces when discovering new things.
**EDIT: I should add that I am a Christian who is totally confused about "The Rapture" and some of The Revelation, to be honest. It is something I am praying about and studying right now. There are too many interpretations out there about this.
God Bless.

I believe all children up to the age of accountability would be raptured. This also includes the fact that any children who die before the age of accountability will go to heaven too. What that age might be remains a mystery. Some say 10 years old while others say 13. Children are at the mercy of their parents to know about things of a spiritual nature. Unfortunately, many are misguided by parents of other faiths or cults (this includes atheism which is a faith itself). I believe God would have mercy on misled innocent children and therefore allow them entrance into His kingdom.

I believe all children below the age of accountability will be raptured...accountability may be different from child to child...only God knows their heart and maturity...I also believe those who can not be held accountable such as those who have been brain damaged all their lives will also be raptured...but only God knows a person heart and mind....and He is perfect.
