I'm 16 an quite pretty and I always catch guys checking me out at school, but none of them will actually strike up a conversation. 3 of them even butt me in line and another purpously talks loudly whenever he sees me. They're so smooth with other girls, but they'll just stare at me. I am really quiet an I kinda look upset most of the time (Facial expressions, it's a habit). So I'm thinking that might have something to do with it, but seriously, why?I'm also Black, but I don't hang with the other Black ppl, I just have 1 friend. Basically all the Black ppl in my school all hang, I'm like the only one who doesn't! It's driving me nuts, what should I do?

Try being more open. Smile a little more. Say hi to the guys more. Join in with the guys when you can. They will come around. Good luck.

Myself being black too kinda experienced this to.
I live in a place where there are next to no black ppl though so it may not b the same. But most of the time white guys are scared to talk to black girls i found. Not that they don't like us but they actually feel threatened by a black person almost. But just try & start conversation with some guys, smile & be confident!! & it will shine through.
