It is a call to save yourself, to Babylon the great (all false religion) Individuals are being warned of the destruction of all Church's practicing false religion.
Another warning was from Jesus when he told false religion to get away from him."I never knew you".

The Q: Are you going to obey the voice of the angel, and get away from Babylon the Great (the entire empire of false religion)

The A: absolutely and with out a doubt! But I would like to add just a little bit of some of the false teachings to clarify and bring to light some of these members of Babylon the Great...anyone believing the following lies...(doctrines and teachings of men that are opposed to the true Bible teachings on these subjects)...

1. the false teaching of the trinity...Jesus being God Almighty, and not the Son of God as the Bible teaches.

2. a fiery hell as a place of eternal torment and punishment

3. the soul being something that lives on after the death of the body

4.All good people go to heaven

5. Mary being the mother of God

6. All worship is acceptable to God...and all roads lead to God

anyway, these are but a few of the beliefs of false religion...it is good to question where those beliefs came from and to learn what the Bible really teaches about these things, because Jesus said...

(John 17:3) “. . .This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”

and the Bible gives us this warning...
(1 John 4:1) “. . .Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world. . .”

Bashing another religion only turns people away. the Jehova's Witesses that I know have a lot more tact. Based on what you just wrote, for example, naming specifics, getting political about the details asking to obey the voice of an Angel(not the will of Jehova) is a real turn off. I'm glad it wasn't you who came knocking on my door. I would not have listened. I know that you are only tying to help, and I am only being honest. try providing information without offending people first.

So many religions; A recent tabulation concluded that there r 10 main religions & some 10,000 sects. Of these, some 6,000 exist in Africa, 1,200 in the U.S., & hundreds in other lands.

Are all religions acceptable to God?
Judg. 10:6,7; Mark 7:6,7; also see Rom. 10:2,3
If a person worships any thing or any person other than the true God, the Creator of heaven & earth, it is evident that his form of worship is not acceptable to Jehovah, as seen from the Scriptures given, above.

Is it true that there is good in all religions?
2Cor. 11:14,15--Here we are cautioned that not everything that originates w/ Satan may appear hideous. 1 of his chief methods of deceiving mankind has been false religion of all kinds, to some of which he gives a righteous appearance.
2Tim. 3:2,5--Regardless of their outward professions of love for God, if those w/ whom u worship do not sincerely apply his Word in their own lives, the Bible urges u 2 break off such association.

Most religions do teach that a person should not lie or steal and so forth. But is that sufficient? Would u b happy 2 drink a glass of poisoned water b-cuz some1 assured u that 'most' of what u were getting was water?

How can a person know which religion is right?
1) On what r its teachings based? Are they from God, or r they largely from men? (2Tim. 3:16; Mark 7:7) Ask, for example: Where does the Bible teach that God is a Trinity? Where does it say that the human soul is immortal?
2) Consider whether it is making known the name of God.
Jesus said in prayer to God: "I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world." (John17:6)
He declared: "It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service." (Matt. 4:10) Has your religion taught u that "it is Jehovah u must worship"? Have u come to know the Person identified by that name--his purposes, his activities, his qualities--so that u feel u can confidently draw close to him?
3) Is true faith in Jesus Christ being demonstrated?
This involves appreciation of the value of the sacrifice of Jesus' human life and his position today as heavenly King. (John 3:36; Ps. 2:6-8) Such appreciation is shown by obeying Jesus--sharing personally and zealously in the work that he assigned to his followers. True religion has such faith that is accompanied by works.--Jas. 2:26
4) Is it largely ritualistic, a formality, or is it a way of life? God strongly disapproves of religion that is merely a formalism.(Isa. 1:15-17) True religion upholds the Bible's standard of morality and clean speech instead of weakly going along w/ popular trends. (1Cor. 5:9-13; Eph. 5:3-5) Its members reflect the fruits of God's spirit in their lives. (Gal. 5:22,23)
So, those who adhere to true worship can b identified b-cuz they sincerely endeavor to apply Bible standards in their lives not only @ their places of meeting but in their family life, @ their secular work, in school, and in recreation.

5) Do all its members truly love 1 another? John 13:35

6) Is it truly separate from the world? John 15:19; Jas. 1:27; 1 John 2:15-17

7) Are its members active witnesses concerning God's Kingdom? Jesus foretold: :This good news of the kingdom will b preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to the nations; then the end will come" (Matt. 24:14) What religion is really proclaiming God's Kingdom as the hope of mankind instead of encouraging ppl 2 look 2 human rulership 2 solve their problems? Has your religion equipped you to share in this activity, and to do it from house to house as Jesus taught his apostles to do?--Matt. 10:7; 11-13; Acts 5:42; 20:20

I don't believe that the 'her' is the catholic church... i believe it is probably babylon, wherever that will be... but not any 'religion' persay.... for in that time, there will be a push for a one world 'church' where you believe what you wanna believe, and the catholic church is not like that at all

the catholic church is based on the basic truth of Jesus Christ, and even if they have some doctrine that is perhaps not biblical, the catholic church in itself is not the her you are describing.
