Exercise exercise, if you're active you'll burn all that fat in no time. ^-^

your dr is wright
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Eat a little bit of food. That begins to open your appetite, then you may eat more! Or visit a buffet restaurant! All the yummy food smells and being able to eat unlimited may help you eat more. Try getting lots of exercise too. Your body will automatically make you eat because you need the energy now that you burned most of it.

Yes you do need to eat to make your metabolism speed up. Try to eat a little more everyday and eat healthy things that taste good. Go to MyPyramid.com to find out healthy things to eat.

If I remember correctly if your body goes into starvation mode any thing you eat it tries to store directly at fat. So if you eat more you can kick your body out of starvation and should digest food normally and create less stored fat on your body. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but I think that's the way it is.
