I thought that you can live in sin and on your death bed rescind your sins to God and God will forgive.

Just to make sure I'll ring the Pope and see if this is right.

The last time I rang the Pope, he was on the phone to God and I was put on hold as usually.

I didn't mind but when the operator came in with a message for reverse charges to my account, right in the middle of the Cathedral's Boys chorus in saving me from sin, made me hang up.

Go to show that nothing is really free these days.

I am not familiar with the conditions of conversion in Christianity, but as far as Islam is concerned when you take Shahada and convert to Islam your past sins are wiped clean completely, insha'allah.

Peace and Blessings,

Imam Salim

No because God is the most Mercifcul and will forgive any past sins if a person is sincerely repentful and intends to be different in the future.

in the previous you substitute, you are able to study fairly better about Islam. i became born to a Muslim father and Catholic mom yet grew with my mom's faith and became baptised and all. in simple terms this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days i realized i had to be Muslim so my dad's been helping me slightly besides because the information superhighway and Y!A. you should also submit this on the Ramadan section considering that there are dissimilar Muslims there and the R and S section isn't useful. besides, we do not view as Prophet Isa (or Jesus) as God yet as a prophet. certain, he became born of a virgin mom (like on your faith) yet he continues to be someone. We purely worship Allah (swt). Islam in a nutshell is believing that none has the right to be worshipped yet Allah on my own and believing that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. And by technique of slave we propose worshipping Him on my own and following His instructions (no beef, no mendacity, no killing). Our religions are very similar except the actuality that we do not imagine Jesus became crucified and we do not trust contained in the trinity. in case you grow to be Muslim you should renounce the conception that Jesus is your savior.

I can only speak for my faith system: Islam.

When you chose Islam for your religion and way of life, all of your previous unrighteous actions are erased.

You are like a new born child.
