Will you feed me well and provide me with plenty of clean water?
Will you love me and play with me and exercise my mind and make me part of your family.
If I am sick will you take care of me properly and seek proffessional help?
WIll you keep me safe from the road and provide me with a fenced in yard?
Will you stay as dedicated to me for my whole life as you seem to be this first day we are together?

This is for the people I see in here who crates their dogs for 8 hours while they work, or leave them chain out. They think their dogs loves being pin up for eight hours. How do they really know. I would love to put some of them in a cage or chain up for 8 hours and see how they feel..but since you ask this question ..I think this dog would say this to them..
Alone Again
I wish someone would tell me what it is that I've done so wrong.
Why I've had to stay cage up and left alone so long.
They seemed so glad to have me when I came here as a pup.
There were so many things we'd do while I was growing up.
They couldn't wait to train me as companion and as a friend.
And told me how they'd never fear being left alone again.
The children said they'd feed me and brush me every day.
They'd play with me and walk me if only I could stay.
But now the family "hasn't time"; they often say I shed.
They do not want me in the house, not even to be fed.
The children never walk me. They always say, "Not now!"
I wish that I could please them. Won't someone tell me how?
All I had, you see, was love. I wish they would explain.
Why they said they wanted me, then left me in a cage.

If i were a dog. i would ask my owner to take me to the park so i could run and play. If i were a cat, i would snuggle up to my owner, make contented sounds, and ask to be petted. If my owner really loved me, he would do what i asked.
