He would be driven away for sure.
If he had a message for us, it would proably be a message that we didn't like (well, we are like sheep, aren't we? And we don't welcome change, let alone someone telling us to change our ways . . )
So, yes, I think we'd turn him away and label all the believers as crack-pots.
Humans are their own worst enemies . . .

According to Mahatma Gandhi a christian is the exact opposite of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. I believe that is true to 90% christians. It is so as the 10% are the chosen ones who can see the christian faith. The 90% are blind so to speak under the sway and deceptions of satan.
Thus, as a result, the christians because of ignorance and unbelief will really drive away a true prophet. A prophet belongs to the spiritual govt and its history while majority christians belong to, in parallel existence, the human govt and its history under the deceptions of satan. The spiritual govt are the churches, its prophets, saints, bishops, pastors, priests, monks, layleaders, prayerful groups. The human govt is the group of the President, senators, congrssmen, governors and mayors where politics is mudslinging as satan spirit was created from the mud of the earth while demons from the clay of the earth and the natural men from the dust of the earth. The spirit of the chosen ones among men which is the 10% populations are created from gold and silver dust of the earth. The chosen ones of GOD who were born in celestial heaven, their spirits were created from the precious stones of the City of GOD--the mother of all (Gal 4:26 & Rev 21:10-21). Addtiionally, the prophet makes prophecies about the coming govt of heaven which mystery are revealed to the disciples of THE LORD JESUS CHIRIST as they are given the eyes to see. While the others, the 90% christians, the nominal faith, the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven and KIngdom of GOD come to them in parables. Thus, they hear but do not understand and see but are blind It is because the timetable for 90% christians understanding will be in the ruling of the THE LORD JESUS CHRIST in the kingdom of heaven where the natural men will be born in the spirit and become angel-like men. Later in the next KIngdom of GOD where the natural men, this time, will be born of GOD and they will become gods

Well a true christian has the gift of discernment to know whether if this prophet is real or false. So I think it would be important to make sure the fruits of the prophet lines up with the scriptures before receiving him with open arms.

Yes without a doubt and the christians would kill him.... John Lennon was a prophet.... a man went to a bible camp and came out a killer.....
Chrisitianity would balk at any prophet.... in revelations the last prophet is the woman of the wilderness... I've met her and I know what people have done and do to her in the name of religion.... Even her own relatives... and she's getting more and more information as the days go by... but people don't care about what she has to say... Christians especially balk at her..... in the end everything will call her god...

Christians can use the gift of discernment of spirit to know whether a prophet is speaking by the Spirit of God and test the prophecy according to the word of God. In the presence of two or three witnesses let every word be confirmed.

I think the vast majority of people in the world would be relatively educated, in lending a ear and listening what this new profit had to say.
One thing has changed since Jesus Christ had spoken for a short time in his ministry, is eduction of life in this world, since they had disposed of his life by a jealous few.
It has taken 2,000 years, but I think the vast majority of the human race is now relatively modest when it comes to religion these days.
If a Profit did arrive on earth from the heaven's, then would they say the Profit was from a alien world. Moreover what religion in the world would want to claim the Profit as their Religious Leader for the future.
This then would be the biggest question to resolve in the world today or tomorrow and the new Profit would have to mediate those who wish to go to war for the ownership of the Profit.

Never!!! But if you mean if someone today will show that He or she is a true prophet, thats different story. The Bible as Gods' Revelation has always been with us for 2000 years. No one can add or subtract from the Bible. Anything you want
to know about God is there already completely written in that
Holy Bible.

God did send a True Prophet for this endtime, He could discern the very thoughts of your mind, He could tell you who you are & where you live at & so On, But many people missed the time of their visitation, If you don't believe me go to www.williambranham.com & then come back & tell me again that God did not send a True Prophet.

Some would reject him and some would accept him. That's the way it always goes.
God would give some sort of sign or evidence to show that the prophet had truly been sent by Him.
The time for prophesy has virtually ceased, however, since the Messiah already came and died for the sins of mankind.

There are many Prophets walking among us already...Prophesy is one of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit...
If we seek "Truth", then it is only by the Holy Spirit will we be able to "see" it...however, very few people actually utilize this and, depending on the "message", if it's not something they wish to hear, they will turn a deaf ear or ridicule that which they do not understand.

What sort of credentials would this "true prophet " have ? How would anyone know that he was sent by "God"? If some guy puts on a robe, and says he's right from heaven, and was sent down by god to save the world. Would you recommend making a big hero of him, or putting him in the nut house ?
