I live in a small village, and at my place of work are about 30 employees. I am a Christian and would like to tell them about Jesus, but I know they are not interested, so i don't want to disturb them. If I sometimes tried I noticed they are embarrassed, so I say nothing. What shall I do?

Live a good life, and wait for them to ask you about it.

If your religious beliefs are worth anything, you should be able to show by your actions and their outcomes that you have something others should also want.

If you can't - if you have to pursue others and press your beliefs on them - you might as well admit that your beliefs are not worth having.

Oh, yes, and let me also congratulate you for not crossing that boundary (as the guy below pointed out). I think you're off to a good start, showing some respect.

Let your light shine.

Sometimes we are backwards when it comes to talking about the Lord. That is because it does make a lot of people uncomfortable.

One of the best things you can do is to be sure to live a holy and righteous life. If and when religion or God comes up say what you know about the Lord Jesus.

This is a hard thing to do and it is something that takes practice. We do not need to be overbearing but gentle and meek. Just be sure to never give up the idea oh witnessing about the Lord Jesus.

Love how God guides us! Just before I signed onto Yahoo, some scripture kept running through my head and I had to stop and look....the verses were in 2 Timothy 2:23-26.

Now, I see your question, and my suggestion is that you go and read 2 Timothy as a whole, for it is a guideline for what you are asking.

Aside from that...from personal experience, sometimes a person doesn't have to be speaking anything in particular, they now know you are a "Christian" and they are going to go by how you "act" in everyday life rather than what you say...just ask the Lord to open doors for you, then, step through with gentleness and love God be with you! :)

Friend, I have always said If I can't live it, I will not talk about it. I just retired from my employer after 38 yrs. & I never one time try to force my Christian values on anyone, They watched my life & the day I left for retirment, I had many people say that they will miss me because I set a very good example as a True Christin, You see, they watched my life. If God leads you to do something, then God will give you the grace to do it. But don't do it just on your own, You see, God works on both sides, If God sends Then God will cause that other person to listern. Just remember YOU are the only Bible some people will ever Read,

You have tried ur best, u may not have to speak outright about JESUS but ur nature ur way of life should be so to drag the people to know who is ur GOD. They must see JESUS in u. And it is often that we may not have to be too descriptive but when someone comes for help or wants to know something then u can directly or indirectly tell them about HIM. I also face the problem as I am new to the profession I try my best to give my best as all arould me know I am a Christian. I had tried to talk with them about JESUS but they use to turn the topic. But one day two of my colleagues were talking about that now is the age we the girls be married, when they asked me about my opinion when will I be married I told them I wont marry as I believe JESUS is coming back to take us then they went on asking questions I went on answerin and I know that If I had gone straightaway went and told them of the Second Coming of the LORD they would had mocked me. This is how I give witness.

First of all, let me congratulate you sincerely for respecting a boundary which all too often leads to bad feeling when crossed. In all probability they have heard about Jesus already many many times. I think the best thing you can do is just declare yourself as a christian and be an example. You get respected and they remain dignified, and eventually a conversation may naturally happen.

And don´t tell me The Land Letter was a letter sent to President George W. Bush by five evangelical Christian leaders on October 3, 2002 which outlined their theological support for a just war pre-emptive invasion of Iraq. The letter was written by Richard D. Land, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. It was co-signed by Chuck Colson, founder of Prison Fellowship Ministries, Bill Bright, chairman of Campus Crusade for Christ, James Kennedy, president of Coral Ridge Ministries, and Carl D. Herbster, president of the American Association of Christian Schools.

Continue to grow in the knowledge of the word of God and your relationship with Jesus. Allow the power of the Holy Spirit to transform you to be more like Jesus. When people can see Jesus in you and you are living out the kingdom life of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, they will be attracted to you and want to know why you are so different. Then you can share about Jesus Christ to them as you walk the talk.

I once heard the story of a missionary who lived somewhere in Africa but couldn't speak the language of the locals. He stayed there until his death and simply served the people. After his death missionaries who could speak the language arrived and started telling them about Jesus. Their response was that they've known him, and they showed the missionaries the place where their predecessor lived!

Actions speak harder than words.
