I would wear black to a wedding, and it wouldn't bother me if someone wore black to my wedding. At the end of the day, you need to be comfortable, especially being pregnant.
Have fun:)

yes its fine when i was pregnant with my son i went to a wedding at a very big hotel i think i was roughly 8 months gone i had a black skirt and top on if you wanted to give it a little colour why not see if you can get some coloured shoes and handbag and maybe some different coloured jewelry. these would split the black up and give that little bit of colour. but alot of people where black these days pregnant or not as its a very slimming colour (thats why i like it so much) hope this helps and have a nice day and good luck with the babyxxxx

Provided it isn't a very hot day it should be alright. Black dress in the hot hot sun could result in you feeling a bit too warm especially if you are 7 months. You should seriously consider wearing comfortable shoes if you're going to be standing up a lot. A nice hat will help to keep you cool and breezy. Stay comfortable!

You might be able to find something else shopping on the net. Pale colours or bright colours are usually best for a summer wedding. If the black dress is the one you want try and match it up with white or cream accessories like jacket, wrap, shoes, hat to brighten it up and make it look more summery.

You can wear any colour to a wedding. If you like the dress then wear it but perhaps you should team it with something bright and colourful so your outfit looks more cheerful. My suggestions are a shawl, cardigan, jacket, scarf, hat, headscarf, belt maybe or even shoes.
Hope this helps!

I was at a wedding on Friday last. There was a pregnant woman there, who was wearing a black lycra dress. She had accentuated her bump with a lovely gold ribbon/bow just above it. She looked really funky!
I hope you enjoy the wedding.

yes it will be OK, especially as the whole point of a wedding is look smart but don't outshine the bride. If you are really not sure ask the happy couple if there is going to be a particular colour theme on the day.

Yes! Actually, monochrome is very 'in' this season, so I think you would look great in black with white accessories. Maybe a white hat with a black flower or ribbon on it, or if you don't want a hat maybe a black & white feather fascinator. You could wear black shoes with little white bows on or white sandals. There are loads of options - don't worry you'll look great and your best accessory will be your bump! Congrats & good luck x x

go for it! i dont think everyone will be staring at you for wearing a black dress, if anyone even notices. screw tradition and be a rebel lol.
no but seriously, i would quite happily wear black to a wedding, and on reflection everry wedding i've been to i've worn black for.
i dont see the big deal but at the same time you have to be comfortable, so on the flip side if your not comfortable wearing black to a wedding then its best not too.
