Well you gotten this far so you will find your problem. Don't forget the connection at the pedal. I once replaced a cable and had it snap in two weeks becuase it was connected wrong up there. Does it look as if the fork arm at the transmission is giving a good pull? If so, then the trouble has to be inside.

Did you remember to put the sleeve back on in between the transmission case and the clutch release fork,if you want to add adustment range you add washers between the sleeve and trans case. There should be a curve in the sleeve this is what gives it adjustment

Out with the motor again. You need to check carefully if the throw out bearing did not get turned off the forks. And look carefully at the throw out bearing support collar and the throw out fork it self where it is welded I have seen the welds break and no disengagement. I used to scotch brite the support collar or just replace it 3 10mm bolts and applie a thin coat of grease to all the contact points of the clutch linkage and inside the throw out bearing. Throw out has to slide freely.

sounds like you got your through out berging on the wrong side of the fork when you put the trans back the fork has to be in the middle of the through out berging
