first, check his diet - what are you feeding him? he should be on a good dog diet, with no human food.
wet dog food and human food will give them flatulence.

Make sure that you are feeding your dog a good quality food. If you are giving the dog table scraps, you will need to stop doing this. If your dog still has gas, there is gas pills that are made for dogs that you can give them. They can be found at any Petsmart.

Just like yourself, the reason she has gas is because something she ate didn't agree with her and didn't digest well, built up gas and so it expells. Change her food, stop giving her scraps from the table if you are, give her chew bones to clean her teeth once or twice a week, see if this doesn't improve in time.
