There is a girl I work with that I fancy, were friends at the moment, I flirt with with her by teasing her about little things, make good eye contact and smile, we also spend lunches together.
We had a pub lunch as a group and she told her friend in front of me that I am cocky, is this a good sign?

if you joke around all the time with this girl, then yes, its a very good thing. she doesnt really think ur cocky. she knows u have confidence and girls love that. especially if she said it so u could hear it and u know she was joking, she said it so that u would make a smart *** comment back, cuz she loves it when u make her laugh. so next time she says it, pull the whole "im not cocky, im just confident" line, make her laugh, cuz thats what shes lookin for.

You want to know if being cocky is a good sign? Do you know what that word means? If unsure, look it up. I wouldn't go around acting cocky if you want decent people to like you.
The only people that like it are people that I'm sure you don't want to be attracted to. Find out why you need to act this way in your life in order to get attention.

Coming from a woman, I would say being called cocky is a very BAD thing. Means that she thinks you're full of yourself and that you think your sh** don't stink. Bad thing.
