Does the bible have errors because it says

"Vegetation Created on the third day and Sun on the fourth day"

According to the Bible, Book of Genesis, chapter 1, verses 11-13, vegetation was created on the third day along with seed-bearing grasses, plants and trees; and further on as per verses 14-19, the sun was created on the fourth day. How is it scientifically possible for the vegetation to have appeared without the presence of the sun, as it has been stated in the Bible?

Any answers please?

Yes, the Bible does have mistakes.

1 Kings 7:23 "He made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about." Circumference = Pi() x Diameter, which means the line would have to have been over 31 cubits. In order for this to be rounding, it would have had to overstate the amount to ensure that the line did "compass it round about."
Lev 11:20-21: "All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you." Fowl do not go upon all four.
Lev 11:6: "And the hare, because he cheweth the cud..." Hare do not chew the cud.
Deut 14:7: " "...as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof." For the hare this is wrong on both counts: Hare don’t chew the cud and they do divide the "hoof."
Jonah 1:17 says, "...Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights" Matt 12:40 says "...Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly..." whales and fish are not related
Matt 13:31-32: " "the kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed which…is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown is the greatest among herbs and becometh a tree." There are 2 significant errors here: first, there are many smaller seeds, like the orchid seed; and second, mustard plants don't grow into trees.
Matt 4:8: " Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them." Unless the world is flat, altitude simply will not help you see all the kingdoms of the earth.

GOD made light, and day and night on the first day.

You are mistaken that the Bible says GOD "created" the sun on the fourth day. The Hebrew word is "asah" which can mean to observe or celebrate. It could be that this was when the sun and moon were first visible from the earth's surface. It was at this point that GOD ordained how people on the earth would keep time.

But there was day and night from the first day. So the sun existed before the plants.

If you are looking for Bible, "mistakes" then please try again.

Could the real problem be that you don't understand what you are reading?

Maybe you should read the Bible and give it a chance to prove itself correct.

To pre-judge the Bible is not fair. You will automatically come to the conclusion that you decided before your "search" or "investigation". You could do that to the Bible or anything else. The problem does not lie with the Bible, but with the prejudiced person.

Gen 1:1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

I am not sure this deserves an answer, because you will not believe it if you do not believe the Bible.

However, here goes, on the first day God said 'let there be light, and there was light'. It does not have to be sunlight to make vegetation grow, so whatever kind of light that was created on the first day, could have been satisfactory.

Some preach that it was His light, the light of God.

In Revelation it says that the new heaven and earth will not have a sun or moon, for God will be the light and there will be no more night forever.

Do we understand, NO, but we accept that we can not understand everything that exists.

As to the assertions from rangedog, I think it is highly probable that the greater light and the lesser light in Genesis 1:16 is the sun and the moon. That is what I would expect from someone with a Bible search program.

My thoughts' exactly, vegetation cannot be created without the presence of sun. But one more thing: It says the sun was created on the fourth day, but from where has this "day" come if the sun isn't created yet? Because 24 hours make a day, and this 24 hours are determined with the help of sun.

The vegetation was indeed created on the third day and then God created lights in the fourth day.

I don't find it a problem to leave the plants in the dark for just one day. Cover a houseplant for 24 hours and it'll live.

Clearly, God creating everything out of normal order shows us the magnificence of His power!

The sun is not mentioned in the Bible until Gen. 15:12

You have to read the details carefully.

It's not about science, my dear. Imagine an artist painting a canvas. He put the flowers and trees in one day, and then turned his attention to the painting of the sky.

When the Torah was written, science was not even really a concept.

This is just one of the many mistakes and contradictions and cruelties in the bible. Those facts by it self is enough proof that no divine intervention was present when the many writers made uo the stories in it.

Why worry about things like that where there are mistakes like "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" and that stuff about Jesus rising from the dead?

You are in error by omitting day one, and drawing the logical conclusion from what is said about one and four.
