Its for a media essay. You have to analyse a front cover, and the one i chose was a cover that had lots of images of old albums. I want to know if the end bit of the sentence makes sense. Thanks !!

"The images have been very specifically chosen, and the majority of the target audience would recognise it, and as all the albums pictures are old, it would trigger nostalgia.

It seems like kind of an awkwardly constructed, run-on sentence. You'd be better off phrasing it as something like: "The images of the albums were specifically chosen to trigger nostalgia in the majority of the target audience."

The images of old album covers have been specifically chosen to trigger feelings of nostalgia in the target audience.

Consider....would recognise them (plural)

Do you want to say that people recognise the images (that have been chosen) because they know them or that people recognise that the images have been chosen for them? It is unclear. Consider 'relate to' or 'connect with' the images rather than 'recognise' if the photos are not of people they know and they just contain familiar things from their past.
As this is a very detailed statement I would put a full stop after this and part and write a separate sentence about the albums or go on to explain how powerful nostalgia can be.

I would say

"The images have been specifically chosen, and the majority of the target audience would recognise them. As all the album's pictures are old, they would trigger feelings of nostalgia."

"The images have been chosen very specifically and the majority of the target audience would recognise THEM as all the albums' pictures are old, thus THEY would trigger a sense of nostalgia."

It's a run-on sentence, but if you rearrange the syntax, you could make more sense of your point. "The images of old albums have been specifically chosen to trigger feelings of nostalgia in the targeted audience."
