From all indications I have seen, a majority of Americans feel this way.

The "perfect" presidents lived in the late 1800's-early 1900's, those days are over. New problems, new challenges, new spin doctors. No one is perfect, and take a look at the other two who could have been president. One is worse than the other. There's no way either of them could have brought Americans past 9/11/01, let alone through everything that's happened since. There are reasons for everything. Hopefully this time around, voters will do right by each other and vote a real president in, not see election day as a popularity contest - but who is really right for the job?!

The whole damnned government is a lost cause and a stain on American history. I have never seen such a bunch of pathetic, puling, partisan pinheads in all my 61 years. What an incredible agglomeration of losers and fools! They will go down in history as the congress and administration that allowed America to be overrun with illegal immigrants while they made a complete hash out of the middle east and lost the respect of the entire world.

Kolatco's rant is ridiculous.

You could have a list 10 miles longer for this disgustingly corrupt administration we have now.

Based on your Clinton list, I should blame Bush for Mark Foley molesting little boy pages...because they are both republicans?

Get a life.

As long as the USA pay their entertainers, sportsmen, actors, singers... more than 1000 times higher (payed indirectly by taxes of the State: those who engage them can deduce the money from the income taxes) than their presidents and their influent politicians and that almost all of the citicens find that fact absolutely normal,
as long as an owner of an undertaking of only middle importance owes 50 times more than your high level politicians, you might not complain about your presidents, governors... and about corruption in politics.
You just own what you deserve.

Bill Clinton stained the Oval Office carpet and if you want to find the Path to 9-11 follow those semen stains for 8 long agonizing years completely ignoring the islamo facist threat...take a few side trips to lie to federal grand jurys along the way.

Undoubtedly based on your "question" your looking at this from a liberal perspective. To answer your question correctly I need to make a couple of assumptions. To assess the Bush administration, youve apparently thought the last liberal administration was a good benchmark and was a success. If your calling the Bush defense against al qaeda and record dow jones a failure by referring it as a stain, perhaps you could elaborate further how I can use the Clinton(last liberal) presidency to clearly understand why you call it a stain(as a ;iberal roadmap on your idea of presidential success). Heres what history tells us about this benchmark.

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court
Perhaps the majority of LIBERAL americans your referring to have the same type of philosophy as the clintons when referring to presidcential success or failure and that is the real problem when trying to determine what the Bushs have really done in office. My feeling is the aforementioned results speak for themselves.

No its not, and if you look at polls, sure his numbers are low, but the Democratic Congress approval rating is even lower.

I think it is possible that this could be the case. What disturbs me the most about America is it seems that America did not learn a thing from it's Viet Nam experience. America is doing the exact same things. Politicians running the war, putting constraints on the soldiers, and so on. This is no way to fight a war and because of it, we are losing.

The immigration thing has me disgusted with the Bush administration.
