Sure you can do so because WinXP have Multiboot Fucntion.Let's say your HDD have two partition, (C DRIVE )& (D DRIVE). IF you want the next boot are WINXP or WINME, just choose on the second partition and install. When installation successful, it'll appear boot option selection interface for you to choose either WINME or WINXP.
( Both Partitions running WINXP also will do...
If you haven't already tried it, there is an excellent Freeware application named Ranish Partition Manager. It is very reliable and stable. It will show what partitions already exist and allow to create additional partitions in any extra space.
Th ranish may only be for fat 16 and fat 32 so another free one is located at link#2 unless you wan to pay for one like partition magic * its a good program too and link 3 Is the easiest to use and Free... the last link might be the 1st palce to start as it is very user friendly and gives lots of step by instruction and tips ~CHEERS~

Sure. Once the setup is all done, use a program such as Partition Magic (it's the leader).
You simply chose the partition sizes, it makes them, and you're done. And the first disk will still function normally.
BUT: With only 103gb, I don't see much of a point. Mines 160 and it's all in one drive. For my own understanding, please let me know what you are thinking and why.

You would need to get hold of a program like Partition Magic which can resize partitions in a non-destructive way.

First defragment your hard disk, in case all there can be problems because your files are located all over your hard disk. Then use a partitioning tool. I use GParted! It is free, open source and it rocks! Here is the link for downloading its bootable (live) cd:
