I just wanted to know that how can i change the screen i see when i first switch on my laptop.I have Windows XP installed.Usually its the manufacturers logo but i want to change it.I searched for it on the net but all i got was changing boot screens and welcome screens.So if anybody can tell me i would greatly appreciate your help.

If you want to change your desktop background, do this:

1. Right click on the background.
2. Click on Properties.
3. Click on Desktop
4. Pick a new background
5. Click on apply.

You probably can't find an easy way or even available way to change the screen that posts when your BIOS is booting, but you can change the Windows Logo.

I think this guy is one of the original pioneers that made the information public a long time ago.

You can choose from a variety of pre-made "boot screens", or even make your own.
