I would like to try to download free podcasts (i.e. free) for my Shuffle Gen2; I don't want to download and pay with iTunes. I tried searching google and it's all amateur stuff, and I tried Limewire ("podcast") with no results either way. If anyone knows a website or P2P (Limewire) Keyword, I would appreciate it.

Podcasts are almost always free. You will not have to pay with iTunes. Go into iTunes store and there should be a link to "podcasts"on the right. If you go there, you'll see hundreds (maybe thousands) of available free podcasts.
And if that somehow doesn't work, you can try www.podcastalley.com.

pretty sure you can use itunes...i put my itunes podcasts on my cars Hard Drive MP3 player and had no issues.
