Hi - I'm in Australia. Able to retire this year but will still probable work casual as a trained nurse.
I thought it would be wise to ask for wisdom from people who have learnt by their mistakes when they retired. Please share these with me so I can avoid them. Thanks, Marcelle

Keep busy, keep active, don't end up sitting in front of the TV! Also my grandmother was always talking to people, meeting new people of all ages - she was never put in a rest home - and aside from a bit of memory loss, that woman had all her marbles to the end! She was 92 when she died.

travel if that is what you want to do..sometime down the road you may not be able to do anything..my theory is Fly while you still have wings..

it's hard but try to learn how to live, most live to work ,when we are to work to live
