Dirk is probably the second best shooter in the league. Steve Nash is the best. I believe he shot 53/45/89% FG/3PT/FT.

He is definitely considered one of the best. But guys like Ray Allen, Michael Redd, Steve Nash, (and even Jason Kapono or Kyle Korver if you're talking long range) can be better on any given night.

No one had those numbers this year in the league.
I still think Dirk deserved it.
Yeah, he was bad in the playoffs, but if you've watched Dallas play GS ever, you'd know that Dirk plays that way against them all the time, not just the playoffs.

To his defense, in the playoffs he was up against a team headed by the coach who helped mold him into the player he is. I can't help but think Nelly knew exactly how to shut his game down.
