You need to let airport security know about the pace maker, metal detector's might effect it. You also might bring something from your doctor saying you are OK to fly. Sometime notarized. The knee should not be a problem in security, people with that go thought them all the time , just let them know.

Make sure you tell as many people at home you are going and check in as much as you can so they know you are OK.

Make sure you leave in enough time in case sometime happens to slow you down. Traffic, things at the airport that might slow things down.

Since you have the pace maker you should be able to board the plane early. You know, woman with children, handle cap and such.

Good Luck and be careful.

Your doctor should give you a note. You can bypass the scanners. An older employee of mine had a pace maker and traveled with the family. He was exempt from the screening. they occasionally will do a body search.
You will be fine. But ask your doctor for some type of note to show the security personnel.

the factors on the Apollo well-being middle in Colombo are extreme. The kit is stable and the docs and surgeons tend to be experienced overseas. i think of that is probable a extra perfect selection than India. you will get a brochure online. the super benefit is that folk in Sri Lanka many times talk English, while in Thailand they do no longer.

Seriously? Tell the scanners. Call the airlines before you go and ask them for help or further information.
