Because they have low-esteem. Possibly as a result of bad experiences that they've dealt with, with certain people. People can be mean and unkind, if you've had to go through that as a child, it tends to have a lasting effect on you and being confident and self-assured can be very difficult :(.. My message to everyone : watch what you say and do to people, be kind, respectful and courteous. Treat others the way you'd want to be treated!

Some people are self conscious maybe lack of self-confidence. Just be confident and you know how to carry yourself no matter what others perceive or think of you.

Most people are to some degree. If you say you're not, then strip naked. If you're still okay, then bend over and spread your cheeks... in somebodys face... after going to the bathroom.
If none of that bothers you, then go out in a giant baby diaper, I don't know...
