I think you just solve for h. You could put a little more info.

-3(4h+2)=2(6h-7)
-12h-6=12h-14
8=24h
1/3=h

-3(4h+2)=2(6h-7)

Distributive Property
-12h-6=12h-14

Transpose variables to the other side and Constants tote other

-12h-12h= -14+6
-24h=-8

h=1/3

- 12h - 6 = 12h - 14
24h = 8
h = 8 / 24 = 1 / 3

first, clear the brackets,
-12h-6=12h-14,
then collect like terms,
-6+14=12h+12h
8=24h
divide both sides by 8
1=3h
divide both sides by 3
1/3=h

multiply both sides out by the coefficient...then just move common terms to each side...and solve.
