is done by applying Cream ?

It is an act in prayer by Malinga. Moreover it does not amount to tampering the ball and further applying spit to the ball for shining is permitted as almost every player on the field does this.

the umpires does not object,because kissing the ball will not cause any tempering.funny question dood.he kisses the ball not the umpire.
