Can you also show me a picture of a Male Fantail fish (goldfish) and a Female Fantail fish (goldfish) so i can tell the difference between a male and a female Fantail fish

firstly, you can only tell the difference between males and females during breeding.

secondly, youll never get goldfish to breed at home. they need very specific conditions, including ice cold water and specific temperature drops over a few months to get them to spawn.

successful breeding of a goldfish at home is EXTREMELY rare.

Both are varieties of goldfish, so yes, they can breed. They are both the same species (even though their breeding makes them look different). This would be the same as a collie and German shepherd mating - both are varieties of a dog.

The photos in the link I included with your other question (http://www.bristol-aquarists.org.uk/goldfish/info/sexing-fs.htm ) are the methods to sex all the goldfish varieties. This needs to be done in spawning condition.
