Where I live, the large holes in the roads can swallow up skateboarders. The city probably doesn't fill them just for that purpose.

No. I am a big sissy.
When I was a kid I had a skateboard. It was all of 4" wide. Skate boards have come long way. I still hate them!! My parents pushed me to be more "boy-like", and then making comments like, "why don't you ride your skateboard" when I wasn't interested in it just rubbed in the fact that I was not living up to their expectations... I was not the "all American boy"... And was turning into their worst nightmare, a big pansy-a ss-f *****!!!

When I was a kid skateboarding was just beginning to be popular and I loved it up until I got into the military then I never rode a board since.

I could never skateboard or rollerblade/rollerskate - I don't seem to have a very good sense of balance and end up planting my butt on the hard hard ground. I guess I'm lucky I can ride a bike and even a dirtbike. Although, I have been known to bite it on 2 wheels pretty good.

what's up it's da diva here speaking and to answer your question ''NO, I do not skateboard, never did and never will. I am affraid to . I am scared that I will probably fall, or scrap my kness or elbows and the worst of all I can brake my neck and die. I've seen those crazy white boys skate board movies, and documents i know that people who skateboard jumps on the stairs and the rail or poles in thins. Let me just say that you got a lot of guts baby to skateborad because I wouldn't dare try it. I'm to young and pretty to die. lol got to go baby love ya smootches da diva.*

In the early to mid 70's I used to be addicted to my skate board... I was young and very fit then... I made my own also as did my mates as they were not commercially available for sale in Australia in those days...
I remember we had a lot of fun on them...
