A second chance yes, but not much more than that. Everyone deserves a second chance to make up for their previous actions. By not giving them that you could be holding back their personal growth.

Yes I do, but I try to learn from whatever it was that happened.
There are times when a misunderstanding can lead to hurt feelings, and it's certainly worth the time and effort to follow up on it if it means saving a valuable relationship. If it turns out that this is someone who continues to hurt you, then you need to remove yourself from the relationship. Misunderstandings or even a lapse in judgment can be deserving of a second chance, just don't take it too far and become an emotional punching bag.

Yes, second and sometimes even third chances. I have been hurt a lot by people in my life, but everyone deserves a chance to turn things around.

My partner is on what I would deem to be his last chance right now.

It would depend on whether that person was truly repentant for hurting you in the first place. Just as we would like to be forgiven when we inadvertently hurt others, we too should extend that courtesy to those who have done us harm, and are truly sorry.

If that person just makes excuses, and is not truly sorry for what was done, then I see no need in firing up a relationship again, just to end up with the same results.

Hope this helps you.

If the person did it on purpose, you could be the most forgiving person on the planet, there is no way things will be as they were before.
You can give a second chance but there will be always that little cloud over your head.
Trust is earned but once it's lost, it may be forever.

I often do, even though I know I shouldn't, there are just some people that once they are in your heart you can't get rid of them, no matter what they do to you. There are three people like that in my life, I never want to see or talk to them, cause I know if I do, I will only be giving them a chance to do it again to me

I have in the past and lived to regret it immensely. Got hurt worse the second time around!

It largely depends on who hurt me, and what exactly it is they did.

My kids get as many chances as they want. They don't cash them in very often.

My ex gets no further chances, he's all used up on chances.
