Yes they do. However he tells his stories in an uncoventional manner. There are plot line and character development yet they're not strong. He really trys to invoke emotions in the audience rather than a straight forward movie. He challenges people do some really crazy... THINK! His movies creates a meaning within you by not explaining the real truth behind his movies. I find that they don't really have a closure to them and they're very open ended however thats what he WANTS with his movies. I believe you need to really appeciate Lynch before trying to understand his movies.
This is the thing I think puts alot of people off Lynch, they spend the time looking through the movie, trying to work out what's going on. Like the thing is some maths equation you have to work out, you see the same kind of people in art galleries, looking through the painting, worrying about what this represents and what that means and so on when all they really should do is relax and enjoy what they're looking at for what it is. Lynch is a master director and I think you need to take what you're watching at face value the first time, and then the second time find a truth within yourself.

I love David Lynch's movies. They do have a logic of their own. You probably won't get it the first time around. His are the kind of movies that need to be watched multiple times to be understood.
Mullholland Drive and Lost Highway made so much more sense the 2nd and 3rd times around.

people the two get his movies or think of the action pictures are crud to maintain it well mannered. I enjoyed "Dune" and "Mulholland force" yet i individually hated "Wild At heart." each and every Lynch fan swears by technique of "Blue Velvet" and "Eraserhead." maximum agree that "The at present tale" isn't a real David Lynch action picture-it quite is merely too mainstream. there are in basic terms some administrators obtainable that generate a similar style of fan base. John Waters, Quintin Tarantino, and Oliver Stone all take care of it, yet in basic terms Waters is as obtainable as Lynch is.

Except for Twin Peaks : Fire Walk With Me
most of his movies are like a dream within a dream...the characters want more out of life and imagine more for themselves, but their reality is twisted and they see the world in a diffrent way then everyone else.

I don't think he makes them to make you understand them.
At least, not in the first viewing. So you have to watch it a few time before it makes any sense. It is another way to make blockbuster money without the blockbuster.
I think he considers his movies "art movies"...

They certainly don't follow the repetitious patterns of most movies. But they always have a point. If you don't get it, watch it again. He understands the human condition better than almost anyone.

there's one movie that he made called "Dune", that was a really good film. the ones that he made recently looks so weird, i don't understand what's it about, it's like someone is living in an alternate universe.

Nope. He makes them as confusing as possible so that artsy folks can have something to argue about over coffee.
