He's good in just about everything, and for my money, he's among the most under-rated among the finest.
A Civil Action he played to a T; Falling Down was so low-key, it was missed by most. The list goes on.
And um...the true fan knows he has TWO L's in his last name.

Probably the lawyer in Godfather movies. Maybe Tender Mercies. Just because he is such a great actor. He is not the most beautiful but he is so believable you forget you are watching a movie.

Not his best movie, but he made "Days of Thunder" watchable. Perhaps thats the true test of a great actor. Someone who can make watching a bad movie worthwhile.
