Thankfully no.
Well, for the most part I think it's cowardly. But I know of a couple of women who HAD to give a Dear John letter when they left their spouse,because their safety was at serious risk.So, I'd have to say it really depends on the situation. Ya know?

I've gotten a couple, in e-mails, and it IS the coward's way out.
