can any one pla help me with my maths i am really dam in maths

5-8e = 2-3e

first step: add 3e to both sides

5 - 5e = 2

second step: subtract 5 from both sides

-5e = -3

third step: divide by -5

e = 3/5

i guess the answer is

5-8e=2-3e
5-2= -3e+8e
3=5e
therefore
e=3/5
