A person shaving their head is not always a skinhead thing.
I shave my head for three reasons, one is because my hair is thin, so shaving my head seems better than trying to conceal the fact that my hair is thinning.
The second is that it's just for style/fashion, or whatever. After my first head shave all of my friends thought that the bald head look fit me well.
Thirdly, it's just convienient. Personally, I've always hated screwing around with my hair. Once I had shaved my head, and didn't have to worry about combing my hair, I became addicted to the convienience of it immediately.

Woodrow, the 1st group to shave their heads as a collection identifier have been the skinheads. skinheads are really nowdays a type of "punk"
you know mohawks and leather jackets
they're many different types of skinheads and most are ANTI RACISTs like the Sharps
its for skinheads and/or its a trend, and/or its easier to care for, and/or its not as hot, and/or to cover up bald patches.
some guys even like it because they think it makes them look tougher.
also, swimmer sometimes shave their heads so that they are more areodynamic in water
yup, soldiers like it too. that way the enemy can't pull on their hair, pulling the head back to expose the throat that can be easiely cut with a knife in this position.
oh and how about chemotheropy? those poor people have cancer.

No, all men with shaved heads are not skinheads.
Skinheads are actully easier to spot by their clothing and tattoos (if they are tattooed).
A shaved head has become fashionable, so a lot of guys just do it for that. Others do it because they don't like the fact that they are losing their hair, and feel it looks better if they just shave it all off.
Don't worry about your dad's friend. I am sure he is perfectly harmless.

I think it's the ease of care along with being cooler in the hot summer months.Once you're past 30 you could care less about trends!!! The bald thing is a possibility with some people...

No. Even still, not all skinheads are racist. Organizations like SHARP (Skin Heads Against Racial Prejudice) have actually fought racism.

No, I don't think he is racist! I know of many men who shave there heads because they are balding, or because they simlply like it! I wouldn't worry to much about it unless he gives you a reason to think that he is racist! Another possiblity is he may have cancer god forbid. But it does happen!
