Different . . . *I* wouldn't go that route, but that's me! I'm not a fan of so-called "normal" names, though. Maybe Justine or even Justyn, to take the "boy" edge off of it . . .

One thing, though: in my experience, if you give your child an unusual name, SOMEONE is bound to misspell and/or mispronounce it! My oldest is Candace, and people constantly try to spell it with an "i" instead of the second "a." And my youngest is Aithne (pronounced "AITH-knee") . . . a whole 'nother cup of tea! I've had people try to call her "Athena," and few people outside of her immediate family (including my own sister!) can ever spell it properly! I'm 30 weeks with my third daughter, and trying to find an unusual name that I won't have those same problems with . . . easier said than done!

On the other hand, a unique name sets the child aside. I shared my name (Anne) with at least a half-dozen other girls in my graduating class, and wouldn't wish the same on my own children!

In the end, it's no one's choice but yours and your partner's, though. If you really like it, go for it! Just be sure it's something you'll be comfortable using, especially when she's in trouble! lol That's when my kids hear their middle names most often, and loudest!

Whatever you decide, good luck with your baby!

That is a very good name for a girl. Emilee is very common but spell different and Justin is very cute. Just as long as you like the name then its perfect. My daughter doesn't have an original name and sometimes I wish she did

I don't like the middle name. Sounds like a boy.
And Emily is usually spelled this way

How about Emiy Beth
Or Emilee Justien

To my way of thinking naming girls with boys names is not weird, just undesirable,it's like you were hoping for a boy but you got a girl, having said that,Emilee Justine is a very pretty name.

If you spelt Emilee properly and not phonetically, it might pass. But it's still a terribly common name.

Emilee is a nice name, but prefer traditional spelling. Justin is a boys name, but I do like it for a girls middle name, as I like masculine names for girls like Charlie, Frankie, Sam, Dannii, so Justin is nice - as long as you won't mind it getting confused with Justine, which is the girls version of the name and is pronounced differently. (just-teen vs just-in)
